I have a relative who wants to get an iBook for Christmas. However, this relative is a "Windows is the only way" kind of person. So I have a switcher. I don't want her to get it and then have a faster one come out a few months later and have her mad at Apple. Im sure you know what i mean. When do you all think the next iBook speed bump will be?

In time for holiday season i hope!

ibook revisions generally are refreshed in april/may and october/november.

An ibook revision has occured both in middle of october and end of november. iBook and powerbook refreshes generally occur within a few weeks of each other.

I've told my sister-in-law to hold off as I think the iBook will get a bump before the years out. Hopefully a 64 meg video card will appear...
