iBooks not downloading purchases

Not seen nor seeing this issue.
I have seen what I call page content duplication occurring after a couple hundred pages. The page content gets stuck and you see the same content on successive pages until you exit the book and reopen.
Also since b3/pb1, you can't download ePub or mobi files in safari.
(Calibre, NASA ebooks, etc.)
Only pdfs still work.
