iChat Gets Another Chance

Okay, so I reinstalled os x just for fun, installed updates, restarted, and repaired permissions. I launch iChat and all is well, but then I click on the "all groups" tab and BAM, instant crash. I send the error report to Apple, and iChat quits. Should I look into this more? Repair permissions again? I mean I just reinstalled os x with all the updates, I would think this wouldn't happen. iChat seems to be working fine now, also once in a while it will just disconnect for no reason and yet I sitll have my Internet connection.

ive personally never had iChat crash on me, so perhaps your case is isolated, the only thing i would reccomend is to
1. repair permissions from the OS X install cd
2. delete iChat, its prefs, and receipts
3. reinstall iChat
4. repair permissions again
