uhm...

I do not have a usb webcam. But, I have a Nikon Coolpix L6 that has a usb2 interface. And I know you can hookup a usb webcam to iChatAV by using iChatUSBCam and macam.

Does anyone know where I would find an app or driver that will turn my digital camera into a webcam? I just bought this camera thinking that iChatAV was plug n' play with whatever, but it appears that they only want you to use a firewire camera.

Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Wait so that is a digital camera right, not a digital video camera? I don't know this for certain but I don't think that a digital camera has the throughput to allow it to act as a video camera. You may be able to take movies that are a few seconds long but I think that you might be asking too much. You should just look into buying a cheap web cam. I bet you could get one for around $20. I think that it would be a lot easier.
