I have a G4 (450 mhz) which is about 3 years old. I've got OS 9.0.2 installed on it and have been trying to install OS X (I tried install Classic first too)and i get the same message. It keeps telling me that it has a problem with the "icon folder".

i looked for this and even deleted a hidden folder with this name (maybe a mistake), but it always comes back.

what's going on and how do i install X?

let me clarify a bit. the warning actually says:
"problems were encountered accessing the file called "icon". Please move the file to another folder and try again".

I have started up from the OS 9 cd, i have cleared my harddrive and reinstalled OS 9.0.2 and nothing works.
i reall want to install OS X , but i can't get past this warning.
