iPhone 12 I'm an idiot and apparently chose payments and not upgrade

Went to upgrade this morning. Told me my iPhone 11 wasn't part of the iPhone Upgrade Program. Dug up my order email from last year, sure enough, I somehow chose the payments option and not the iPhone Upgrade Program option. Feel special now. ?

I think he is saying he could not upgrade today because his current iPhone is not on iup.
He did not indicate whether he purchased iPhone 12 or not and whether he traded in his 11. I get the impression he didn't.

I did the same thing with one of my phones. I paid it off and applied for a new phone on IUP. I planned to buy one of mine anyway.
