Actually i think the panel has been improved.
Rev A 20" 350:1 contrast vs. Rev B 20" 400:1
Small improvement but the specs for the 20" are now the same as the cinema display

Is there a website somewhere with this information on?

Cheers,

what does 400:1 mean?

It is the contrast ration, 400:1 in the rev b 20" imacs is an improvement over 350:1 in the rev A 20" iMacs - basically means that blacks can be produced more accurately and darker e.tc

If the ACD and iMac screens were the same, then the iMacs would be sold for a LOT more money.

The display on the iMacs is not as good as the ACDs. The last revision used the same display as the old ACD.

Well they have improved the specs slightly over the Rev A, apart from brightness, which could have been slightly crippled, the specs are the same as the acd's. I don't have a 20" acd but when in store i can't really see that much difference, so they are probably not using the same panel but perhaps a slightly more advanced one than before.

It's probably the exact same panel. I can't see Apple ordering two different sets of 20" 16:9 1680x1050 LCD panels. It's cheaper and easier to just use the same panel, and stick it in two products. I believe they order them from LG or Samsung or someone like that.
