How do I reinstall the iLife that came with my Powerbook G4

Use an app like Pacifist to install from the packages on the OSX disks your PowerBook came with.

Alternatively, follow the link in my signature.

On your backup DVD there should be an application (package) called 'Install Bundled Software Only'.

Double-click and see what happens.

I get an error when I open the Install Bundled Software Only package,

Error Reading Package
The package is damaged and cannot be read
