I have an iMac G4 (Tiger) and sometimes download music or videos and the volume is too low, even on max. Is there anyway to increase it by changing the settings somewhere?

Any help would be much appreciated. :)

Depends, if the encoding wasn't done right then there isn't a lot you can do, but try this:

Check that button in your iTunes Preferences

Thanks, I'll try that with iTunes.

I'd also like to know how to do it without iTunes like with Quicktime.

I found a way for QT. Put the volume on max, rewind to the beginning of file and then press Shift and the up arrow, it increased the volume.:D
