Installing iOS 7 on iPad 2...

    Any reason why iTunes doesn't allow me to install iOS 7 when I hold alt/option? It just auto takes me to restore...

    No, worked for me. Make sure you unpack the dmg file and put the IPSW file on your desktop. Plug in iPad, select restore while holding option key. Should bring up search window. Desktop > Ipsw file
