Hey guys,
I am trying to install Tiger to an SSD, for my Graphite G4. It is currently having display issues, can’t get anything to show on screen. It boots and chimes though. I was wondering if I could use one of my other working macs to install tiger to the SSD and then replace it in the G4. I have a 2011 iMac 27”, and a 2009 Mac Pro running opencore monterey. Any thoughts and ideas appreciated.

So no dice with using a newer Mac to install Mac OS 10 directly to a hard drive using an enclosure. However a FireWire storage device worked amazing. Both a bootable dvd and usb were no gos. It saw the FireWire right away however and the install went off without a hitch! Highly recommend
