So I ordered a 512mb stick of the 677mhz or whatever it is DDR2 Ram for the Intel iMac because a friend of mine was supposedly getting one and I said I'd spot him the money for the ram. Well he never got the iMac.

However, I just got my new Macbook Pro. Is it the same Ram? It looks like the same size/frequency/etc. I can't seem to find the diff between the two.

And no I'm not going to just "plug it in" to see if it works :p

Just curious. They seem to have the same specs and size?

    they are the same ram.
if it works on iMac Intel, it will work on MBP and vice versa

if it's from iMac G5, no

Ok just thought I'd post that is does indeed work as mentioned above. Just figured I'd add that It recognizes it just fine.

And I had a 1gig laying around, not a 512, so 2gigs for me. yay
