I got a blazing fast top-shelf Intel 750 SSD 1.2GB. I love it. I found out when I bought it (and a PCIe enclosure to plug it into Thunderbolt made by Helios) that Mac & Intel don't make drivers for it. Luckily, I found someone else who did.
I used to use @jimj740's driver at http://www.macvidcards.com/nvme-driver.html in Yosemite (OS X 10.10) and El Capitan (OS X 10.11), but now that I accidentally decided to upgrade to Sierra (macOS 10.12), I can't find any drivers to work with it. I tried https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/os-x-driver-for-nvme-m-2-solid-state-drives-released.181387/ but that did not work for me at all; we concluded that it is not set up to support Intel, only Samsung.
I'm hoping either I can get ahold of JimJ740 and pay or plead with him to update his driver, or find someone else who has found a solution.
