Internet usage meter (Yosemite friendly)

Hello everyone - I am traveling to a place (Spanish Island in Europe) where Internet usage is limited. I have never had to learn how much Skype or email or surfing consumes. It is going to be important this trip.

I am looking for a cheap or free Internet usage software that will track all my usage. I prefer a software which tracks each day and cumulative too. Yosemite friendly is paramount. '

I am also looking to find information about how much bandwidth Skype or email, surfing, etc consume. So articles about that would be useful too.

Bandwidth+ can be obtained through the App Store and works great!
