I like to have my songs/albums in original date order in my playlists. A lot of songs I buy that were originally released in the 80's or 90's for example, usually have a much later date on them by default in iTunes, especially if they came from a later compilation or something.
Anyway, with iOS 5 "cutting the cord", is track info editable on the device itself, or must I use iTunes for that?

Also, whilst I'm here, can you subscribe to podcasts on the device in iOS 5 too?

This is something I'd like to know as well.

(Sorry for not adding to this thread.)

No, track info is not editable on iOS5.

and so far, you cannot subscribe to podcasts on iOS5

Tho i would have thought that if you're already subscribed to a podcast, it should update when wirelessly syncing to your iTunes overnight, but i cannot test this as not running a mac
