iOS 8.4.1 NEVER lags.Period

In the 7 months or so I owned the Air 2 and a year for the iPhone 6,there wasn't a single lag on any of my devices.I am appalled that Apple actually managed to slow the Air 2 down. That thing has one of the fastest GPu out there

8 stutters also, it's been an iOS thing since 7.
Go to settings-safari-passwords on an iPad and let me know how smooth and stutter free the keyboard pops up. Lags just as bad as spotlight in 9.
How is the weather app, lag free?
How is safari? Because safari in 9 is miles better and smoother than in 8.
How about scrolling speed in general.

The only good thing about 8 is that it does not give animations priority which 9 does yet again. Makes things like pinch to close on iPads a pain again.

Stutter is not a new thing since iOS 7 ;) iOS 4 stuttered on first gen iPad, iOS 5 made it smoother but also slower. And don't get me started on iOS 3 and 4 on iPhone 3G.

None of those devices shipped with those software versions. The iPhone 3G was terrible on iOS 4.0 when it was a two year old phone. The problem with iOS 9 is it stuttering and dropping frames on 2 month old phones, the 6s and 6s Plus.

It works ok in my case...
Unfortunately all of my playlists and actually music (paid or "liked") in Apple Music is completely gone. Just everything is blank and empty. I tried logging out/back in, still not there.

Anything with an A7 and up should be more than capable of running the basic UI of a mobile OS smoothly.

Do you leave your VPN running overnight? Just wondering if maybe it's causing me problems.

iCloud backups have been intermittently working since iOS 9

It's just just specific to 9.2

iCloud is shot. Any backups created in iOS9 are unusable, they fail to load app data and a high percentage of the apps installed are corrupted.

Agreed, if I want to restore I use iTunes anyway.

The iCloud backups are nice to have if you were ever away from your device with iTunes on it

I have noticed that on 9.2 my 6s plus doesn't activate 3D Touch accidentally when clicking on a link in safari as much as it did on 9.1.

Day whatever.

Still seeing a lot of improvement on my 6 plus as far as less lag and stutter.

Almost reminds me of pre iOS 9 even with the animations on

Hey guys, just had an email from Apple stating this build fixing the slow control centre on my 6s Plus, glad to see bug reports I submitted and being read and implemented!

Hopefully lots more to come
