So I've had many iPads and am ecstatic with my new 128gb space grey iPad pro I got on day one (- the pencil of course). I've been using my new pro allot with no issue during the day, learning procreate ect. I'll use all day off and on....running the battery to approx. 40%. I'll plug the iPad into my OEM 12v charger and hit the sack. Every morning so far I have attempted to wake the iPad and have been unable to. It seams the iPad powers off totally overnight, requiring me to power back on, and re-enter my password in settings. After the iPad pro is re-started, it works flawlessly. This issue has happened every night and once in the day since I've got the pro.
My recently sold 4th gen iPad never had this issue, or any other iPad I've ever had. Before I do a restore, and start the process of contacting apple, I was wondering if there is some kind of auto power-off setting I'm not aware of anyone knows about, or something I'm overlooking.
This is my first post here on macrumors. I want to thank you all for the years of great insights and entertainment through the the years. Mac-head since '87.

Hey there , i think there are other threads on this too. This seems to be an issue others are having too and a reset is the only way to fix it at the moment. Apple have not acknowledged but hopefully will fix soon.

Just happened to my iPad pro after running fine for 6 days. Diag log says it experienced some type of crash at 1:06 am and had to be reset to bring it back to life. The default behavior is to automatically ship these logs off to apple, so hopefully they're looking at this stuff.
