Is anyone experiencing missing app suggestions below the search box with new Siri in iPadOS 27 Beta 5? It's fine on the iPhone. Yes, the relevant settings are enabled.

I am experiencing the same thing. Search on iPhone with Beta 5 works fine. I am half hoping that this will get better after indexing proceeds further, but I suspect that it is a bug and will have to wait for the next beta to fix it.

Indexing on my 2TB M4 Ipad Pro is really causing all the software to slow down, and some of it not to work. Have not seen this with previous betas on this device

Have not seen this with previous betas on this device. in fact this was not posting so I hit post agani and it finally worked and posted again. it is makng myM4 ipad Pro almost unusable this evening. I hope this indexing gets done it is a pain in beta 5

Missing app suggestions here too. My iPad is still “Optimising Search and Siri”, does anybody see this on an iPad that has finished indexing?

I’m having exact same problem on iPad Pro M4. I did a complete erase and restore. Still same issues. If you turn AI Siri off it works as expected. I tried all kinds of thing but once I turn AI Siri on it won’t suggest apps or even search for files. Works fine if you use old Siri.

Also getting this issue, but also noticed, if I type an app name, it will auto complete and find it, but I cannot open it via touch, just with the Enter key.

Seems fixed on B6, at least if I swipe down on the screen. Still doesn't show suggestions if I hit Cmd+Spacebar on the Magic Keyboard, but that might be by design.

Surely can’t be by design, can’t see any logic in not showing suggestions and keeping is consistent with iOS

confirmed it is fixed on the latest update that just came out. Have not seen any other changes but have not used my iPad a whole lot since updating this morning.
