Hi

I've looked at app store for iPhone 4s word processing program.

Lots of iPad app's, are they compatible with iPhone?

Anyone recommend an app?

Cheers

O

They probably say they're for iPad because word processing is much more common and popular on the iPad (because of the bigger size). They'd work on the iPhone too, but it wouldn't be as good.

Pages is actually pretty awesome. One of my classes has an assignment every couple weeks where we have to write a short (~600 word) opinion piece based on a documentary, and in between classes I jotted down about half of it on my phone before taking out my laptop and continuing it from iCloud.com. Love the iWork apps for that functionality.

I just wish the Mac side of iCloud worked like the iOS side for the iWork apps. Having to log into iCloud.com to upload documents kind of defeats the purpose of that part of iCloud.

Pages is good. For Office documents, I use Office2 (squared). It was fairly cheap, but it works well. You can open, edit and save Office documents.

OP might also want to check out Quickoffice Pro. IMHO, that is a very decent app.

They also have Quickoffice Lite, a free version, to try out before buying the Quickoffice or Quickoffice Pro paid versions.

Good luck. :)
