iPhone text message filter

Hi there!

I can't seem to get this feature working: In Settings > Messages, one can select "Filter Unknown Senders" which is supposed to filter SMS messages from unknown senders into a separate tab in Messages.

(iPhone 6 running 9.2.1)

Does anyone else have the same problem?

That's only for iMessages.
It doesn't filter text messages.
