Everytime I open up iPhoto it keeps telling me that there are recovered photos. When I go to the folders containing these photos, they are merely unix exec. files. I always delete these unix files but new ones always show up whenever I open iPhoto. Please help...it's getting annoying.

I've seen this issue before and I know how to fix it. Go into your Pictures folder where your iPhoto Library is located. Right-click and select "Show Package Contents" from the contextual menu. Drag the folder named Import to the Desktop. Close the package, launch iPhoto, fixed. Most of the times I've seen this happen you have files that don't belong in iPhoto, like mpeg 1 or word documents. Not sure how they end up there in the first place, but this usually fixes it.
