Hope it's next month not next year. (Ipod Touch)
Considering they couldn't fit 128GB in an iPad which is 3x bigger than the iPod Touch, I highly doubt you'll see that happen anytime soon.
Damn and blast, not happy with those answers. Ipod classic here I come.
I thought that it was just the flash memory of two 64GB chips were expensive rather than a space issue
llanelliboy here I agree with you.
Space is always an issue.. And the price of 64gb chips are also expensive.
it is possible as in technically but it is not cost effective. the price of 64gb flash chips is far too cost prohibitive for apple's profit margins. if they did make one, it would sell for about 600-700 dollars so nobody would possibly buy it.
The iPod classic is a bad-ass little workhorse. No shame in owning one. I have one, and I'll keep it regardless of what Touch I have. You just can't beat that massive amount of storage to keep anything and everything on it at all times.
When Apple thinks of adding 128GBs, that's when it'll be released.
2011. No way it's coming out this year. 64gb flash memory is crazy expensive.
2030 sounds more reasonable right now...
