Recently I've noticed few anomalies in my iPOD Classic 7.5 G (late 2009, 160 GB Grey) and they are....
  • Fast depleting battery.
  • Hard drive spinning and kicks in and I can feel it (never experience this before).
  • A bit lagging in loading songs and audio book.

Any suggestions are welcomed.

Thank You.

Thank You.

If you're looking to get the hard drive replaced, you should check out the adapters sold on Tarkan.info which allow you to use an SD card or CF card as the hard drive. The benefits to this are more memory, (or less depending on what size SD or CF card you use) faster read/write speeds, lighter overall weight of the iPod, and increased durability due to SD and CF cards being solid state. Many people on this forum (such as myself) as well as people in your local area would be able to do this repair for you, as it isn't all that hard.
