today I bought my first apple :D(yea...) and I connected my Ipod to my G5 and now nothing happens to my Ipod the only thing that is up is the apple logo(it froze).
I tried reseting it but nothing. Can someone help. I bought it in September(sept. 10th about)

I don't want to send it out for repairs..its not even a month old.
Please help

Well that's your problem ain't it. Use Disk Copy (/Applications/Utilities/) and format the iPod as a Mac drive then run the iPod app which is in /Appz/Utilities (from memory) and choose to erase it completely and start over, whatever the wording is.

On a loosely related note, I reformatted my iMac yesterday and noticed that you can format the drive as MSDos. I never noticed that before :) hmmm
