Ipod Mini - Airport Express?

If I was to get an ipod mini is it possible to charge it via the usb port
I can connect my phone and charge it off the airport express obviously get no fuctionality but since you no longer get a charger it might be good
has anyone tried this...Did it work

Works with the shuffle. Seems to be a (somewhat) standard USB power source. Dont see why not.
