Is it too late to get the Apple battery case if I'm planning to upgrade to the 7?

Hey guys,

Do you think it's too late to get the Apple battery case for the 6s if I'm planning to upgrade to the 7 in September? Or with the rumours out there, should I get it because they're keeping the same form factor?

At this point, I would skip the battery case if planning to upgrade.

I wish the mophie juice pack reserve had a lightning connector, the apple case is garbage.

Definitely wait until the 7 is out. It could be a mm or two thinner or smaller and that would fully ruin the battery case.

For the price the next model will cost, it had better not need a backpack add-on in order to have decent battery life...

Doubtful, one exists and works adequately. The best that can be hoped for is discounts on it at stores other than Apple.
