Hey all,

Someone I played with on Xbox Live told me that there is a capture card built in to macs, is that true? But they said there is no sound. How would I do that?

You can capture any video via firewire.
I have no idea about the xbox, but from my DVR I can capture the video using a firewire cable and the Firewire SDK that it's free to download from :apple: website.

No, not for TV, for xbox 360. How would I get the video on my TV and macbook through firewire? Would it be USB on one side and firewire 400 on the other?

Most camcorders made since, oh, 1998 have FireWire (in Sony's case - iLink) out. Meaning you can use the camera as an AD/DA converter to do what you need. If you have one of these cameras, you could save some $$
