Is There A Way To Hide The Home Bar ?

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to ask if it’s possible to hide the home bar in iOS 16?

For some apps, it can be really annoying & I don’t understand why Apple won’t give an option just disable it.

No, unfortunately you can't.

Developers now have an API to request it, but the system has the last word.

when I had a jailbreak on my iPhone X it was perfect removing that home bar, I was used to not seeing nothing on a galaxy s8 it was natural I already know it, I don't need a reminder

Enough is enough is iOS 18 doesn’t let us hide it im gonna be upset, even Craig emailed me saying something silly that we need it or we won’t know how to exit a game that’s the level he is at the moment he doesn’t get it
