I don't think there's a wrong answer, here. They're all very similar products, and they're all great. Perhaps not the answer you were looking for, but true nonetheless!

A 34" display with 3440x1440 works well with macOS as it sports one of the only two pixel densities that simultaneously is natively supported by macOS and results in everything being the normal size. Since it is not a retina resolution things won't be super smooth.

Whether that's a problem depends on your sensitivities, some people here will tell you they get eye cancer from it, others will say that they don't even notice the difference. Personally I do notice the difference but am still happy using my 110ppi displays.

Smoother fonts do not my productivity increase.
