I have a retina macbook and the OWC USB-C dock connected to a Dell monitor. How is USB-C supposed to work for charging? If I plug the rMB into the dock while closed, it does not charge. It will only charge if open and turned on. Is this how I should expect the dock to function?
Also, I periodically got through periods where the macbook will not show as connected to the dock at all. I've tried multiple USB-C cables and still get no connection. Eventually it connects (I can't find a way to make this repeatable, it just happens sometimes). Anyone else have this problem?
