I just got a new G5 Dual 2.7. The machine is working great so far... except for iTunes.
I have my mp3 lib consolidated to a FW800 drive. Upon opening iTunes, I went to iTunes prefs, turned off 'copy to itunes lib folder' and then proceded to drag my root mp3 folder (on the FW drive) to the library in itunes.
It imports all of the songs, and as it starts the song analysis, I get a kernal crash. I've tried only doing a portion of the library at a time, and always seem to get the kernal crash.
Any ideas?
