Itunes Playlists

Is there a way or else a tool to just keep the songs which I have "weeded out" onto playlists and get rid of all the rest of my files. I have a very large music collection and wish to only keep the songs on my playlists. How can I do this without having ot go into the actual folders and tryinmg to find them that way?

Maybe create a super playlist with the criteria:

Playlist IS NOT playlist x
Playlist IS NOT playlist y
Playlist IS NOT playlist z

etc.

Then just delete all the files in that smart playlist by pressing Option-Delete
