Hello Friends, I assumed this would be the best place to ask some questions on iTunes.

My wife and I each have iPhones. Is there a way to use one computer, one itunes to sync and backup the phones without crossing the information between phones. I recently backed up my phone through itunes and it synced her contacts onto my phone. I backed hers up a few days later and all of my work contacts made their way onto her phone. Is there something I am doing wrong?

I was thinking about maybe just wiping itunes off and starting fresh with a fresh backup and everything. I want to put ios5 on my JB iphone4 when it becomes public, but I don’t want to run into the same issues with these backups. Or is there a way to keep itunes installed and delete all of the saved backups from it? So it will think it’s the first time I am syncing my phone to the computer? Any insight or knowledge is appreciated. Thanks.

The backup has nothing really to do with your contacts. In the iphone section on itunes you can change where you sync your contacts from, normally outlook. I think not 100% but you can setup two groups in outlook and set up each phone for that group.
