iTunes sync problems

When I sync my iPhone with iTunes, I get the following message pop up on my screen. What does this mean and how do I fix it?

It means exactly what it says. iTunes cannot find those files so it cannot copy them to the iPhone. Locate the files on your computer or delete them from the library.

Where it says "100 total problems" click the triangle on the left to display the problem files. Drag the screen as large as possible to see the entire file paths. Did you have those files on an external drive that you disconnected or turned off?
