just saw itunes U on apples home page, is this something new???? haven't heard of the itunes university edition???

Not really a special edition of the software, but areas for students to access school specific content. It's been around for a while and each school seems to put different stuff up.

I teach at Georgia State University and my department has chosen me to be their guinea pig for this program. I will videotape my lectures and upload them to iTunes U for students to review. The only problem is how long it is taking for the deal between Apple and the university system to be signed. Once it is--hopefully sometime this semester--I'll be able to give inside info on this topic.
