joining avi and mpeg files

    i have a bunch of avi and mpeg files i want to join to make one single file. what can i use to do this? will imovie do this for me? is there any free software you recommend?

    ffmpegx has joint function, but not sure what kind of requirement it might have for your videos to be connected.

    ffmpegx is also a sharware, but u can use for free with very few limitations.

    ... can use the software called "D-Vision" for joining AVI files and VOB files: http://www.objectifmac.com/ Click on the button called "Tools" for this.

    Also, ffmpeg can join any MPEG files: http://homepage.mac.com/major4/ Here, proceed to theTools menu, too.

    Both titles are a "Must have" for video coding stuff.
