keyboad and trackpad freeze on 2011 11" i5

Twice in the last month while in safari my keyboard and trackpad froze. I could still see flash animation playing in the browser on the screen. When I press the power button I get the choice to restart, sleep, shutdown etc but I can't select anything with the trackpad or keyboard. If I close the screen and reopen it asks for my password and I am able to use the mouse and keyboard again and was where I left off

Any thoughts? 10.7.2
