macOS Launch FaceTime when I turn on external iSight?

Can someone help me with a script that will launch FaceTime when I turn on my old-school external iSight camera?

I tried posting this in the Mac apps section, got 134 views and no responses. soo..

If your iSight is recognized by ControllerMate you should be able to set it up to do what you want.
