LCD screen viewing angle

I've just bought a new 2.4GHz 2GB MacBook, and after getting used to the glossy screen I've noticed something that I'm not very happy about. The viewing angle of the LCD screen seems to be quite small. I've compared it with my MacBookPro that I use at work, and that can be viewed at almost any angle, but just being a little off centre can make the screen look washed out or moving up it looks darker. Is this normal? I seen seen cheap windows laptops with better screens!

It's unfortunately true. It's really a shame that the Macbook such a bad screen has...

I've found that calibrating the screen helps quite a bit. I used my huey.
