Is there a library updater that will automatically add newly added files into iTunes and remove links to dead files?

Is this another question on how to automatically add files that "magically" appears on your computer...? That has been discussed before. My take: If drag and drop is to hard then don't bother...
As for cleaning up: You can always tell iTunes to manage your library and use the Consolidate Library function (under the Advanced menu) to clean up a bit...
Or you could check out Doug's scripts and see if you find anything that does what you want...
