Radio where you can't skip songs? That's a step backwards in technology.
I assume Sonos will add support eventually. If this is a better music service (of which I am currently unconvinced) I would have to stick with Spotify for Sonos reasons.Or whether it's compatible with things like Sonos?
I think that is the point, live radio is old tech. How can you skip songs on live radio?
I found some interesting stuff in the News App but that might be something that will interest others. Everything in that keynote was for SOMEbody, not for EVERYbody. So you have an interest in watching a woman read 15 basic news articles on her phone while telling us about how beautiful, magnificent and world changing it is? It's all the little 20 min time wasters like that, that made this a boring and drawn out keynote
Agree that it was a terrible consumer keynote; not being a developer, I have no idea what the devs in the audience thought, although they clearly liked open sourcing swift. I bet they would have much preferred to hear about an Apple TV app store, which would have been much more relevant to them than the new music service.
It because people can't understand that they don't mean like a pandora station. How can you skip songs on live radio?

All of this and people are still disappointed? Yes we didn't get Apple TV updates which can be irritating but there's a serious amount to chew on from this conference and appreciate - even if admittedly the Music section went on for too long.
- A smaller OS X update focused on performance and improving graphics performance which everyone wanted ☑
- Giving Siri some much needed updates on iOS along with improving lots of core apps ☑
- Giving the iPad a unique features that finally differentiates it from the iPhone in a meaningful way ☑
- Making Swift open source ☑
- Apple Pay hitting stores outside of the US including my beloved London and it's transport system ☑
- Devs getting freedom over Watch apps ☑
- iTunes getting a serious overhaul it seriously needed ☑
Can't please all folks it seems.
