I'm not sure what you mean. Java is free, the compiler javac is free. ant (used for better control of compilation) is free.

Perhaps you mean an IDE? Like Eclipse? Or Netbeans? Or JStudio Creator? Or even Apple's own XCode?

If you install the Apple Developer tools you get the standard Java compiler and environment and you can code Java from within XCode.

yes, im looking for a free IDE..do u know any good ones?
