The shares are in my "Login items" and get successfully (re)mounted upon login, but they disappear every time I put the mini to sleep. Any ideas?

TIA!

Hi guys, any ideas on this? Or at least can you confirm whether your CIFS mounts remain on your desktop after putting a mac to sleep?

This is by design. All Macs loose all network connectivity when they are put to sleep. If you need the shares remounted, try creating an Automator script to check and remount them when waking from sleep. Search on here because someone asked the same question recently.
