I was wondering... if I buy a mac mini & want to put a 7200rpm hard drive in it. Will the mac mini hard drive fit nicely in my old lomard powerbook. 6Gb is a bit small these days. could be a good use for a spare drive!

Yeah, the mini uses the same size hard drive as most Apple laptops (since the 5300 series in fact, when they switched from SCSI to IDE). It should be easy to move your old hard drive over to the Lombard.

actually i have the basic mac mini with the 40 gig 5400rpm hd and i installed a 60gb 7200rpm drive and it is a very noticable difference in speed....
