i am a professional windows developer, but i don't know anything about the Mac software development.

    1. How does someone create apps in Mac ?
    2. What IDE are available ?
    3. What Languages are available ?
    4. Is creating app for Mac easy, compared to windows ?

    1. In more or less the same way as on Windows. But it's more fun... :p

    2. XCode from the Developer Tools that comes with OS X is the logcal place to start for making applications for OS X, but if you want to program in Java then Eclipse, NetBeans and more or less all other IDEs are be available.

    3. You can program in all the same languages you're used to, and a few more... ;) C/C++ or Objective-C is among the most used but Java, Python, Fortran, etc are all there, and more...

    4. Yes and no. Using Visual Studio to create (the basis for) an application is ridiciuolusly easy, but I think when you've got a project started you won't miss all the junk Visual Studio spits out...

Apple's Developer Connection might be a good place to start... :)
