just bought macbook 2 days ago and the max capacity is only 4953 (95%)..and its supposed to be 5200....the first day it was at 4995...then i caliberated the battery and half way i noticed it went up to 5019...when caliberation was completed it was at 4955..and now at 4953....is this normal?
should i exchange battery since its only been 2nd day

or does these figures normally change frequently

So if the battery dies (does it have to not work at all to be considered dead? Or can it be pretty close..) before a year is up, one can c=get it replaced? What about if you get applecare?

the figures change a bit, though with Coconut battery, mine (core duo) is at 5033/5200 (with 83 cycles)

my battery is strange. actually its range is between 4300 and 5091. sometimess it's dramatically dropped and up. I guess battery is not normal. I mean it was fine before updating security update two times last year. but after that, when I use battery which is down to 23~28%, my macbook is suddenly shutdown. I'm not only one who has this problem. I think that software update causes something wrong.
