The calendar has turned to Monday, delivery trucks have hit the streets, and the first customers around the world are now beginning to receive Apple's new MacBook Pro with the all-new Touch Bar. Orders began shipping over the weekend, with deliveries starting today and continuing into next week for the earliest adopters.

A number of MacRumors readers are beginning to unbox their shiny new Mac, including user WayneShorter, who shared the above photo in our 2016 MacBook Pro order/shipping discussion topic. Likewise, Reddit user Xales received his new 15-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar as seen below a few hours ago.

Those still anxiously waiting for their new MacBook Pro to be delivered can track their shipment on Apple's orders page and on UPS's website with a tracking number. Some customers have even taken to tracking UPS flights on FlightAware. When your new MacBook Pro arrives, be sure to share a photo.

Mhm, wish they didn't add the MacBook Pro label back to the bottom of the screen... I'll definitely skip this generation and hold out for the next major revamp.

agreed, i don't care for it on my 12" and love that its not there on my 13" rMBP 2013

Do they have them for display in stores now? I went to an apple store on Friday and they only had the non-touchbar model.

I don't care about the TouchBar (I don't think it can help Pros most of the time) and having USB-C ports only is something that probably happened too early, but my main problem with this Mac is that it is not a Pro machine — oh, and it's super expensive without being a beast in terms of performance.

I'll stick with my dongle free mac. I still can't believe this MBP actually happened!

Has any one ever noticed that those who dislike things them most also complain the most, and at the same time act like those who like things a lot have something wrong with them?

Kind of reminds me of last Tuesday and the rest of the week.

Yes we all get it, you don't want to buy the new MBP version for what ever reason.

Much better than an emoji.

I'm not convinced by the videos. The touch bar seems to be drawing attention away from and competing with the other, regular screen and I can't see the usability benefit in this. Well, nothing spectacular, ground-breaking or necessary anyway. Developers certainly won't make apps require the touch bar (at least they probably shouldn't).

It seems to be a solution in search of a problem.

I'm looking forward to mine being delivered.

I think I've purchased about $400 in dongles. (multiple for office, home, travel, etc.) So annoyed, but this computer better rock, and then I'll chock it up to early adopter tax.

But I fear the new Lead by MBAs Apple took shortcuts which will make me regret the purchase. (no optical out, only 2 of 4 of the usb c are full power, etc.)

It should be a humiliation for Apple that they seem quite unable to have available products at the time they "release" them. I went into my local Apple store a week after these things were released to have a look at one. The assistant I spoke to explained they did not have them yet, because they "were only released last week". Hmm...

There was a time when Apple users were pioneers of new technologies... remember USB? We were happy about this, even if change meant dongles and painful architecture jumps.

Now, at least for the vocal minority on forums, resistance to change is the name of the game. They want their 1996 ports so badly, whereas it's clear that Apple's push will accelerate the adoption of the fantastic new standard like nothing else would do.

Blogs with an agenda, like The Verge, seem to agree. But as an Apple user since 1995 I'm very happy about the #courage Apple keeps showing in order to push the tech world forward. This is pure Apple, doing pure Apple things.

Its deliberate. Its like the new nightclub that always has a queue outside - even when there is clearly nobody in there yet they like to pretend it is busy to generate more interest

Yeah it must be really humiliating to have the best selling computers on the market by far.
