can tell me that you can remove the "Siri" button from the TouchBar? because that would be the first thing I would do when I get machine.
My bad. Got a grainy memory. --- Post Merged, Nov 14, 2016 --- Just heard some guy talk about it in one of the reviews. I would be removing Siri as well so cheers.
7th - 13th December, UK, myself... Still can't help looking through the thread every day though. Hopefully it'll come a little earlier than that, mine's just a stock spec.
Fairly negative reviews + worse battery life + middle finger to European orders, which are still 'processing' + more than £2000 = a cancel button that is luring me closer...
Looks like mine was pushed back to the next flight. Says it's "At local FedEx facility" in Shanghai after the international shipment release.
Haha... I'm still figuring it out. I def don't feel like the touch bar is a gimmick though. Really cool to have something interacting with you as you type.
I got a departure scan from Osaka, JP! 11:30 pm local time. Woo hoo! So, it looks like I'm on UPS105... in a manner of speaking.
I'm depressed. Lol. 14-21 November delivery window and I am approaching 15th November with my order still in processing.
Our 1st one is on that flight too. Waiting for a departure scan as well. Our 2ns on is on ups81 and it got a departure scan a little while ago. Weird how two computers can be on two different flights. They are clones of each other (same specs just made the quantity of 2 when placing the order) and they are on different flights. Hope UPS doesn't screw anything up.
If you feel that strongly about it then go ahead and cancel it and put yourself out of your apparent misery.
So we've been hearing. Every couple pages or so. Im not trying to be a jerk. But either cancel it because it isn't getting here before it said it was gonna get here and the less than stellar reviews, or don't. This product is sold out. If you're expecting Apple to take pity on you because of these posts I don't think it's going to happen. My advice would be to go ahead and cancel now and if you feel like you still want it, but it from a store later so you don't have to deal with the clearly traumatic experience of it delivering as promised but not sooner than promised.
Bought the extension at the Apple Store yesterday. I had a $10 credit for a USB-c to USB-A adapter so the extension only cost me $9.
