I have a core duo mini with two 512 sticks of ram. I was thinking about getting a macbook and swapping out the ram before selling the mini. I checked out the ram specs and noticed they were the same size and had a lot of the same stats but, since I'm not that tech saavy, can't really tell what it all meant. Can someone tell me if what I want to do is possible?

Yes, it is the same. Both use "667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300)."

Just a warning, if you aren't familiar with what you are doing, it is easy to break something while opening up the mini. Plus, anything broken while opening the case will not be covered under warranty.

That's awesome! Thanks for replying.

So, I take that to mean that if I don't break anything, my replacing the ram won't effect the warranty? I actually upgraded the ram to my g4 mini, so I'm a little more confident. It was a scary procedure, though.
