I just upgraded to Mountain Lion and now Mail has changed a feature I use frequently. I often attach big PDF files to outgoing mail, and it would show the filenames in the body of the letter. I need to see this filename to verify that I chose the right files before sending. Now Mail is putting the whole file into the body. I know I can right click on it to download it, but the people receiving them now will find that confusing. But mostly, it does not show me the filename I need to see.

I found a way to right click on the document and choose some category that says Show as Icon. But these are extra steps I don't want to be taking each and every time. I can find no way to change these settings permanently for each new mail I compose.

How might I fix this problem? Thanks.
